Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal winger Joel Campbell has expressed uncertainty over his future at the Emirates, according to the Metro.
The winger who joined Arsenal in 2011 spent four years out on loan due to the inability of the Gunners to secure a work permit for the winger.
He returned to Arsenal last summer and although found it difficult at the beginning to make an impression at the Emirates. His performances since Alexis Sanchez was ruled out with an injury has been superb and the Costa Rican striker has received plaudits for his displays with Arsene Wenger also calling him the “Coquelin of this season”.
However, with Alexis Sanchez nearing his return from injury and also Dani Welbeck close to returning to the first team, Campbell may see his first team chances reduced drastically.
The striker’s contract at Arsenal expires at the end of the season and the 23 year old seems to be unsure if his long term future is at the Emirates as he claims things could change quickly in football.
Speaking to the Gunner’s official website, the striker said:
‘I’m trying to give my best for the team and taking my opportunities,’ ‘Thank God things are going well.
‘It can change from one day to the following one. You’re here today but you do not know where you are tomorrow.
‘Today, you are in the starting line-up and tomorrow you are on the bench. Football is about moments and you have to take them.’
The 23 year old has featured for the Gunners 10 times in the Premier league this season and has 2 goals to his name.
