Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal are interested in signing Dynamo kiev winger Andriy Yarmolenko, according to the Metro.
Arsenal have been monitoring the winger for a long time and have approached the Ukrainian giants about the availability of the tricky winger.
According to the report via A Bola, the Gunners held talks with the player’s club and were told that the player would cost a whooping £20.5m.
The 26 year old had previously been linked with a move to Barcelona and Chelsea. It was claimed that former Chelsea boss went on a personal scouting trip to watch the winger in October while the Catalan giants were interested in signing the winger as a replacement for Pedro.
But Mourinho has since left Chelsea and with Barcelona turning their attentions to cheaper targets like Nolito, the Gunners could quickly move for the winger, although Borussia Dortmund and Everton are sill monitoring the Ukraine international, as per the report.
Yarmolenko signed a new contract with Dynamo Kiev in October but the player is still keen on a move away from Ukraine despite putting pen to paper on new terms.
He said: “I still want that [to test myself in the best foreign leagues]. I know that if Dynamo get really worthy offers we’ll find an option that satisfies everyone.
“I want the club to get good compensation for me. I could have left for free in a while, but that would have been wrong.
“I am 100 per cent a Dynamo player. Our team is like my second family. That’s why I keep doing my best to benefit the club.”
