Arsenal appears to have been handed a final transfer blow in their pursuit of long time target.
Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin looks to have been snapped up by rivals Manchester United.
Arsenal, Tottenham and United have all been heavily linked with a move for the midfield anchorman who is said to have told his current club that he wants to leave this summer.
However, fresh reports claim Red Devil’s boss Louis van Gaal have reportedly agreed a £24million fee to bring Schneiderlin to Old Trafford, with the move ready to be sealed on Wednesday.
Further confirmation has emerged to believe the Old Trafford outfit have actually completed a deal for the 25-year-old Frenchman, after Sky Bet suspended betting on the transfer.
Sky Bet wrote: ‘We have suspended betting on Morgan Schneiderlin joining Manchester United after laying significant business as short as 1/12 on the Southampton player signing for the Old Trafford club.’
The Saints star would be United’s second signing of the transfer window, after Memphis Depay was confirmed in May.
