Arsenal target and AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca is not interested in a move to Arsenal, according to his agent

Wenger is said to be keen on strengthening his strike force and was rumored to be preparing a January bid for the Colombia international but has now been dealt a huge blow by the player as he is not interested in leaving the San Siro.

The uncertainty surrounding Giroud’s future also added to the reports linking us with the Colombian and it was thought that he was Wenger’s first choice to replace Giroud if the French man leaves but Bacca’s agent Sergio Barilla in an interview with MilanNews claimed that his client will not be leaving Milan in January.

“Bacca is very happy at Milan,” Barila told MilanNews,as quoted by Teamtalk.

“In addition, both the coach [Vincenzo Montella] and the club are happy with him.”

At the time reports first emerged about Arsenal’s interest in Bacca, he was rumored to have fallen out with Milan’s boss Montella but his agent claims otherwise.

I do not think Arsenal were interested in the striker at any point in time considering Wenger has more than enough options available to him at centre forward.

Moreover, Bacca doesn’t represent an upgrade to Sanchez, his age also would have been a problem as he is already 30, so he wouldn’t have been the ideal signing for us in any way.
