Arsenal haven’t had to look very far to find a replacement for Alexis Sanchez, according to The Sun.
The Gunners are preparing to raid London rivals Crystal Palace for Wilfried Zaha, who has maintained last year’s fine form despite the Eagles’ problems this term.
Zaha, who was capped twice by England in friendly matches before switching his allegiance to Ivory Coast, has scored twice so far this season — including the winner against Chelsea — to follow his tally of seven goals and nine assists in 2016-17.
The 25-year-old’s performances have alerted Arsene Wenger, who is now plotting a £35m move for the former Manchester United winger.
With Alexis tipped to join Manchester City either in January or when his contract expires next summer, Zaha could be the man to fill the Chilean’s boots at the Emirates.
