Arsenal completed the signing of Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette last week, and the arrival could see another Frenchman Olivier Giroud leave the club this summer.
This has attracted the interest of several clubs, with Everton leading the race to sign him after reportedly agreeing a deal to sell striker Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.
The Merseyside club have already spent close to £100m this summer bringing in 5 players, and have re-signed former player Wayne Rooney from Manchester United.
Giroud however represents a more reasonable option, with the Frenchman’s asking price reportedly set at around £20m, and reports have it that he is willing to move to a Premier League club.
Giroud 30, who is reluctant to leave Arsenal, is currently the first choice striker in the French national team ahead of new teammate Alexandre Laczette and wants to make sure it remains that way ahead of the World Cup next year.
Everton will have their work cut out to get his signature though, with West Ham and Marseille registering serious interest in signing him.
