Arsenal have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Algerian winger Sofiane Feghouli next summer, according to reports.
Feghouli, 26, is yet to sign a new deal at Valencia and his current deal expires at the end of this season. Clubs are free to negotiate with the player and sign a pre-contract agreement before the summer and it is believed Arsenal have joined the chase for the winger in order to sign him for free.
According to Transfer Market Web via the Metro, Arsenal have joined Manchester United in the race to sign the winger.
The club could carry out a major squad overhaul next summer which could see Feghouli move to the Emirates.
Arsenal’s Oxlade Chamberlain and Theo Walcott has been linked with moves out of the club with the former being linked with as much as five Premier League clubs while the later is being linked with a move to West Ham.
Feghouli who has been superb for Valencia could be brought in as a replacement should any of Walcott or Chamberlain leave.
Juventus are also monitoring the winger’s situation but could be unable to rival Arsenal in the race to sign the 26 year old.
