Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
According to a Spanish Journalist, it is reported that Arsenal have summited a formal bid for Borrusia Dortmund striker, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang to join them in the January transfer window. The Bid is said to be in the region of £44.6 Million.
The Gabonese superstar who is the leading scorer in the Bundesliga and newly crowned African player of the year has been in red hot form for the German outfit, leading to a host of clubs seeking for his move away from the Signal Iduna Park during this transfer window.
Gunners are trying to get the right signing in to boost their chances of lifting their first league title in 12 years by trying to break their club record bid of £38.2 Million paid to Real Madrid for the Services of German super star, Mesut Ozil in 2013 but they know it would be hard for Dortmund to cash in on their prized asset in the middle of the league season when they are not far away from league leaders Bayern Munich in the race for the Bundesliga title.
The Gunners need a striker like Aubameyang to complement Olivier Giroud upfront and would try to bring in at least another striker this transfer window as they have been linked with some of Europe’s top marks men.
