Arsenal are on red alert after it was revealed that Real Madrid could be open to the idea of selling Isco next summer.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for the Spanish international after report claimed the midfielder was happy under Rafa Benitez.
It was thought that the Gunners would sign the midfielder this month in a £36m pound deal but all hopes of signing the 23 year old faded when Real Madrid sacked their former manger Rafael Benitez and appointed club icon and world football icon Zinedine Zidane as their new manager. It represented a fresh start for Isco at the Bernabeu. But the Metro now claims there is still a possibility the midfielder will leave the Bernabeu next summer.
According to the report, Sky Sport correspondent Guillem Balague has claimed either Isco or James Rodriguez could leave the Bernabeu next summer:
‘Zidane likes Isco, but I don’t think he has enough to be a consistent Real Madrid player,’ Balague told Sky Sports.
‘It could well be that either he or James Rodriguez gets sold in the summer – but again, Real are waiting to see what happens with the transfer ban.’
Isco has been linked with a move to the premier league for a long time with Manchester City also monitoring the 23 year old midfielder.
