Arsenal are reportedly between the clubs keeping a close eye on Chelsea attacker Kennedy ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
The South American had largely been limited to a left-back/left wing-back role during his time at Stamford Bridge. However, his loan move to Newcastle United has produced the best out of his abilities.
The 22-year-old moved to the Magpies on a short-term loan for the campaign in January, and the ex-Fluminense man has since been used in a left-wing role, where he has impressed with two goals and two assists in the period of eight Premier League games.
As reported by the ESPN FC, the North Londoners have joined Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich in the pursuit of the in-form attacker, though they have yet to make an official approach of any sort for the South American.
Kenedy seems to have been another victim of being played out of place with our arch-rivals, and Rafael Benitez’s decision to operate him higher up the field has enhanced his displays during the second half of the season.
The Brazilian has yet to prove whether he can keep his showing through a significant period. However, he could be worth the risk for Arsene Wenger’s team, provided he is available for an affordable sum during the summer.
