Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez has reiterated revealed his desire to remain at the Emirates for a foreseeable future.
The Chilean who only returned from a hamstring injury in the Gunners derby loss to Chelsea had been linked with a reunion with former boss Pep Guardiola who is heading for the Premier League come the summer. Sanchez when speaking to the media however rubbished claims he was heading for the exit.
“I am very happy at Arsenal and I’m not thinking about leaving,” Sanchez told the Mirror, via the Express.
“The unity here between fans, club and players is enormous and the supporters have been fantastic.
“We suffer the defeats and enjoy the victories together.
“This campaign we are demonstrating that we are serious candidates for the Premier League title.
“I think there can be no doubt about our credentials to be champions this time.”
The 27-year-old attacker has been a revelation since his big money move from Barcelona to the Emirates in 2014. The hardworking attacker joined for £30million as the second-most expensive signing in the club’s history.
He required no settling time and immediately begun paying back the price with 25 goals in his first season.
