Arsenal have received a huge boost in its attempt to sign Monaco winger Kylian Mbappe, according to reports.

The winger is rated as one of France’s brightest talents and we are reportedly keeping tabs on his development ahead of a future move.

However, we are not the only ones interested in the young winger as Manchester City and Juventus are also keen but it is Arsenal who have been watching the player for a long time and it is believed we are seriously interested.

The player’s dad has sparked a mad scramble amongst interested clubs after he claimed Monaco are not keeping their promises made to the winger.

Wilfred Mbappe has revealed his son is unhappy with sitting on the bench at the principality club and wants to play more. The father also added that the player could think about his future in the winter transfer window if things don’t change.

“This is also why I do not really understand the strategy,” he said.

“I do not see what they have to gain from this situation that creates more frustration. It does not make Kylian happy and it shows on his face during the week.

“Some will say he is only seventeen years old, needs to calm down, but it’s not impatience, because the club themselves said he would play. As he needs at his age, there will be a reflection ahead of the winter transfer window.”

The youngster has featured twice this season which is down to a head injury he sustained earlier and to some extent the manager’s decision to bench him.

We would like the player to join us because of his enormous potential but there is a possibility that the father’s comment is a tactic to get his son more playing time at Monaco rather than a move away.
