Scouts from eleven Premier League clubs reportedly watched rising teenage star Ben Brereton take on Stoke.
Nottingham Forest’s FA Youth Cup clash with Stoke City was rammed with scouts from the top flight with Arsenal sending two men to watch the youngster alongside representatives from Chelsea and Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp has reportedly already made contact with Forest over a deal for the 17-year-old striker who is attracting attention from ever corner of England.
The Nottingham Post claim Brereton was watched by scouts from Everton, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Southampton and Leicester City.
United are thought to have been watching Brereton for several months, but the competition for the young star’s signature has gone through the roof.
Arsenal sent Brian McDermott to check out the youngster alongside a second set of eyes while Liverpool dispatched former Forest Academy Nick Marshall.
Brereton has scored 15 goals in 20 appearances for the Forest Under-23s, but was thoroughly outshone by Stoke’s young striker Tyrese Campbell who grabbed a hat-trick in a 4-1 win.
Forest are hopeful that any transfer of their hottest property would break the six figure mark and recently handed their star youngster a new contract.
