Arsenal In Talks To Sign Long Term Target – Reports

Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.

With just hours to the end of the January transfer window, and time running out, Arsene Wenger is seriously pushing for a deal to sign long term target Alvaro Morata.

The boss is understandably seeking more firepower after his side failed to score in two of their last three League matches, picking up just two points from a possible nine. The dismal run  has seen them relinquish their position at the top of the table, dropping down a couple of positions.

The Gunners are understood to be readying an offer for the Juventus forward having approached the Italian giants .

TalkSPORT via the Metro reports that the Gunners have made contact to sign him this month, though rivals Liverpool are also in the running.

The Spaniard was a target for the Gunners in 2014 when he turned down a move to the Emirates in favour of a move to Turin. The Gunners ended up signing Danny Welbeck from rivals Manchester United. The striker has however remained on the radar of the Gunners and they are now putting together an offer big, strong and powerful striker.

Several reports in Italy have revealed that Morata is frustrated with life in Italy. The striker who formed a telepathic partnership with the departed Carlos Tevez last season to help Juventus to an impressive double and a Champions League final appearance has had to make do with a place on the bench this campaign. Juventus coach Allegri has preferred to partner summer arrivals Mario Madzukic and Paulo Dybala in attack.

The Spanish striker who became the first player to score in four consecutive champions league games is eager for a move to keep his hopes of making the Spain squad for the upcoming Euro championship alive.

Arsenal Should stop being greedy and not to worry about competition from Liverpool as Liverpool has than one good striker , Wenger turned Henry from a winger to a striker , he also turned Vav Persie from a winger to a striker and now unsuccessfully trying to change Walcott from a winger to a striker , Giroud is a had working attacker ,but not a goal scoring machine and so is welbeck. That means Arsenal do not have a 20+ goals a season striker and never bought one during twenty years of Arsene Wenger as a manger of Arsenal . It is time for Wenger to stop worshiping the money and pay the right price to sign Alvaro Morata. to gove Arsenal better hope to win the championship and make better progress in the Champion League.
