Arsenal Linked With Surprise Deal For This Powerful 6? 3? Tall In-form Spaniard

Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.

Arsenal are back in the chase for former Real Madrid forward, Alvaro Morata according to reports.

The Gunners are in need of another forward with Danny Welbeck having not featured for the Gunners since April 2015; leaving Olivier Giroud as the only recognised forward at the Emirates. Thanks to the Gunners sleek passing and possessive football, the team still manages to outscore opponents with goals coming from other parts of the team aside from Giroud.

Morata was one player in Arsene Wenger’s radar before he moved to Italy to join Serie A giants Juventus in a deal reportedly worth around £16 Million in 2014. Morata has had a fantastic spell with Juventus by winning the Italian Scudetto and also playing in the UEFA Champions League; going all the way to the finals with the Old Ladies where they lost to Spanish giants Barcelona last season.

But he has now found playing time limited due to the form of Argentine goal machine Paulo Dybala who joined the Turin giants in the summer after the departure of Carlos Tevez. Real Madrid have a £26 Million buy back clause inserted on the Spaniard contract and may choose to activate it but the transfer embargo been given to Real Madrid may see the deal not come to pass except if something can be done within the final week of the transfer window.

Juventus would prefer to hold on to the 23 year old till the summer which means Real would miss out entirely in re-signing Morata; paving the way for the Gunners to make a swoop in the summer for the Spanish Talisman.
