North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly both keen on signing out-of-favour Real Madrid star Dani Ceballos (€43.8m) in January.
Ceballos played for Spain at the Under-21 European Championships during the summer, winning the Player of the Tournament award as his team ended as runners-up to Germany.
But, the 21-year-old has failed to work his way into Zinedine Zidane’s first-team ideas at Madrid since his summer switch from Real Betis, playing just two La Liga games so far and performing in only 11 of their 23 outings across all tournaments.
Diario Gol suggests that the player is already looking for a way out of the Bernabeu in search of more consistent first team football, alerting many clubs around Europe.
The Gunners and Spurs are among those to have been credited with an interest in Ceballos, although they could face opposition from the likes of AC Milan and Roma in Serie A.
The midfielder has also been linked with a loan move back to Betis for the rest of the season having earlier spent six years at the club since the age of 15.
