According to reports making the rounds in the British media, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will hold a clear-the-air meeting with his players when they all return from international assignment this week.

According to British Tabloid The Sun, the French tactician is planning to hold a crucial meeting with his first-team players to reflect on Arsenal’s humiliating 4-0 loss at the hands of rivals Liverpool a forthright ago.

That scoreline at Anfield Stadium followed the 1-0 defeat to Stoke and left the Gunners in 16th position after three Premier League matches of the new season.

Now, the same publication is reporting that the Arsenal boss is planning an important meeting with his star players to avoid the season from becoming a memorable disaster.

Players of the North London club were heavily criticized for their below standard performance as they were thrashed 4-0 by Jurgen Klopp tutored team and were outplayed in every department at Anfield Stadium.

The North London club will now regroup as they try to get the season back on track when they host AFC Bournemouth at the Emirate Stadium on Saturday.

The Gunners finished a disappointing fifth on the Premier League table and won the English FA Cup last campaign before their Boss signed a new two-year deal with the club.
