The defender who is known for his versatility can play anywhere across the back four and Wenger has been attracted my the Spaniard’s versatility and pace.

The Blues who are currently having a poor season are keen to strengthen their squad and have identified the Spaniard as a key potential target.

However, the Sun now claims that Arsenal are interested in signing the 26 year old defender and could rival the Blues for his signature.
