La Liga giants Barcelona are raging at Turkey international Arda Turan (€8.7m) after he turned down an incredible £44 million move to the Chinese Super League.
The 30-year-old is yet to play for Barca in the league this campaign after the appointment of Ernesto Valverde as head coach.
As reported by the Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona got a £44 million offer from China for Turan, which they approved.
According to the source, Turan rejected the offer, a choice which has angered Nou Camp chiefs.
A source close to the footballer has told Turkish-Football.com that Turan is keen on a move to the Premier League while a transfer back to Turkey is his second choice.
Turkey national team manager Lucescu earlier announced that Arsenal had an offer for Turan turned down over the summer.
The midfielder still has two seasons left on his deal with Barcelona. The Turkey international made seven assists and 13 goals in 30 games for Barca last term.
The ex Galatasaray star made a move to Barcelona for £34 million from Atletico Madrid back in 2015.
