Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Borussia Mochegladbach has revealed they could sell Arsenal target Granit Xhaka, according to fourfourtwo.
The club sporting director Marx Eberl says the club could be forced to cash in on the midfielder should an enormous bid come in for his services.
The Gunners have been watching the midfielder for quite sometime and it was thought the Gunners will follow up their interest with an official bid this winter transfer window.
The Daily Star then claimed the Gunners where preparing a January move for the player with Wenger set to table a £38m bid for the player and Eberl has confirmed that the player could be sold for the right price.
“It depends a bit on our own sporting success, it depends on Granit’s own performances and of course it depends on the figures,” Eberl told WDR2.
“If they reach a certain level, then you could start to get dizzy. There are always situations in which every club would have to make considerations.
“It is all in our own hands. As things stand, we are happy to have him with us and hopefully he will stay with us for a long time.”
Xhaka has featured 23 times for Borussia Mochengladbach this season.
