Arsenal are planning to offer Hector Bellerin a new contract, according to reports.
The 21 year old who has been impressive since breaking into the Gunners first team is set to be rewarded with an improved contract.
Bellerin is currently one of the best right backs in the Premier League and the Spaniard have been attracting interests from a host of clubs within and outside England.
Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Barcelona were linked with the defender in the summer transfer window but Wenger was unwilling to entertain any offer for the defender.
Barcelona in particular were keen on the Spaniard but they have now dropped their interest after accepting it is almost impossible to convince Arsenal to do business.
Arsenal want to keep the defender for a long time and according to Football Insider, the club is prepared to offer him a new deal.
The report claims the club have already contacted the player’s representative and want to extend the deal by two more years.
Bellerin broke into Arsenal’s first team in 2013 and has grown into a key player in the team.
He recently broke into Spain’s national team and has so far made six appearances for the 2010 world Champions.
