Arsenal would consider selling Alexis Sanchez if a club comes up with a big offer for his services, according to the Daily Star.

In the last couple of months, a single day hasn’t gone by without an update on Sanchez’s future on the pages of the newspaper. It’s been that way since August when Arsenal initiated contract talks with the player to extend his current contract which expires in 2018.

Talks between Sanchez and Arsenal have dragged on and there is no sign that both parties will reach an agreement soon.

Wenger stated that he wouldn’t let the forward leave for any fee at the end of the season even if he doesn’t sign a new deal, insisting the player must honor the full length of his contract.

But Spanish publication Don Balon claims otherwise. The newspaper says a massive offer could change Wenger’s mind, if Sanchez says he wants to leave the club.

The report claims Inter Milan who are financed by Chinese owners could offer as much as £85m to sign the striker.

A bid of such magnitude will smash Arsenal’s transfer record and also be among football’s most expensive deal ever.

I don’t see that happening.

I am not saying Sanchez isn’t worth that much but no right thinking club will pay that much for a player with just one year left in his contract unless he is a proven Ballon d’or winner.

Perhaps it happens that a club offers that much for the forward and he is still stalling on signing a new deal, Arsenal should accept the bid without thinking twice. That’s my own opinion.

What do you think Gooners? Should Arsenal keep Sanchez at all cost if he refuses to sign a new deal before the end of the season? Or we accept a club-record offer for his services.

Your opinions will be appreciated.
