Arsenal Legend Ian Wright has revealed he would love to see Pep Guardiola manage at the Emirates after Arsene Wenger is gone, as per the Daily Star.
Guardiola who is currently in charge of Bayern Munich has revealed that he will be leaving his post at the Bundesliga club at the end of the current campaign, a decision that has alerted the four big clubs in England.
Although, he has been linked with Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal but it is thought that Manchester City lead the race to sign the 44 year old manager. Arsenal Legend Ian wright has talked up the potential arrival of Guardiola to the premier league and has revealed he will like the in demand boss to move to the Emirates.
Speaking on a successor to Arsene Wenger, Wright said:
“But only when Arsene Wenger decides that he wants to leave. I sat down with Wenger in Brazil a few years ago and he explained why he’s struggled in the past and what his plans were.
“If he wants to say, then he’s the man, and I’ll back him.
“Can I see Guardiola at Arsenal? He’s a big fan of the club and the way that Arsenal play, so he’d be a great fit; but it would have to be in a few years, as you’d imagine that a club will snap him up in the summer.”
Wright also revealed he wants Guardiola to bring Messi along with him to the Emirates.
“I wouldn’t mind him bringing Messi to the Emirates, though.”
