Arsenal goalkeeper has revealed he would love to be a manager when he retires from active football, via the Daily Express.

Cech, 33, who joined Arsenal last summer was speaking with French publication Canal+ when he revealed his intentions of going into management when he retires.

Although the 33 year old reveals he doesn’t plan to retire very soon as he believes he still has about 3 years of top football in him but that hasn’t stopped him from looking into life after active football.

“I would like to be a manager, to organise everything in training, see if my philosophy could work and give it to the team,” he told Canal+.

“I know I could be a goalkeeper coach, I feel I am better suited to be a manager.

“I hope I still have another three years performing at the highest level, something that I really enjoy doing.”

The goalkeeper joined Arsenal from Chelsea last summer for a fee of about £10m and has been instrumental in the Gunners title race. His influence in Organising the defence has been talked up by most of his teammates while the club’s academy goalkeeper has also revealed he is learning a lot from the Czech Republic international.
