Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi set to leave the club on loan at the end of the season.
With Just 7 games left till the end of the season for Arsenal, the management of the club has started making transfer plans that will see youngster Alex Iwobi leave the club on loan.
The Arsenal U21 star made the headlines last week when he scored a hat-trick for the U21s against Stoke City at the Emirates. And has since, been receiving flattering reviews for his performance on the day, especially with the hugely impressive manner at which he scored all three of his goals.
The hat-trick scored by 18-year-old Iwobi now brings his tally for the season to six goals in 12 games, which is clear evidence of his improvement this season compared to last term, when he failed to find the back of the net in 11 appearances.
Iwobi a nephew to Nigerian football legend Jay Jay Okocha, is a quick, skillful and delightful player to watch and these qualities has seen him made the Arsenal senior side bench in the Champions League and the Capital One Cup.
Reports making the rounds now have suggested that Arsenal will be looking to send the talented youngster on loan, possibly to a League One side at the end of the season to give the winger turned striker more first team opportunities.
Arsenal fans who have seen the young forward’s prospects will be hoping to see him making his full senior debut for the club in the near future.
Iwobi in January was convinced by Nigerian football legends Nwankwo Kanu and Okocha to choose Nigeria over England despite making several appearances for England at Under 16, 17, 18 levels.
