Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer
window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal search for a striker has seen the club being linked to several strikers around the globe with the Gunner having been linked with Alexandre Pato, Jackson Martinez, Javier Hernandez, Karim Benzema, Gonzalo Higuain, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Troy Deeney, Odion Jude Ighalo etc. the list goes on and on.
But latest report suggests that the Gunners link to Russian international striker Aleksandr Kokorin has completely die down as it looks highly unlike for the Gunners to make a move for a player they tracked all summer as there is no substantial bid or sign that the Gunners would re-awaken their interest in Kokorin who Arsenal wanted to take on loan but Dinamo Moscow preferred a permanent move for the striker.
The transfer windows is still open till February 2nd in England; so it’s still not certain if Wenger would finally yield to the demands of Arsenal faithfuls by signing at least one of the many strikers being linked to the club. Two things are certain, Arsenal won’t move for Kokorin in this transfer window and secondly; the Gunners need another striker to come in in this January transfer window if they are going to maintain their push for the Premier League crown.
