According to the midfielder’s father and former Brazil World Cup winner Mazinho, Arsenal and Chelsea target, Rafinha has no interest in leaving Barcelona. Mazinho also insists that his son is happy where he is.

Rafinha is currently sidelined due to a knee injury, but it has not stopped him being linked with a move.

Arsenal and Chelsea are said to be interested in the 24-year-old, and it was reported he could be off to the Premier League in January.

But the Brazil international’s father has now rubbished such talk and said his son is settled at the Camp Nou.

Mazinho told in the interview with Radio Marca.

“The important thing is that he’s feeling better,”

“Our concern is that he recovers, that he can return to a football pitch. We haven’t talked to anyone because, with an injured player, it’s difficult to negotiate anything with other clubs.

“Besides, we have no interest [in leaving] either. We have a contract with Barca.

“Rafinha’s fine, he’s recovering, carrying out his work, and he’ll be back soon. I’ve had a perfect relationship with Barca since 2005 and I have no complaints.”

Rafinha has played 81 games so far and scored 11 goals for the club. He won the two La Liga, four Copa Del Rey cups and The UEFA Champions League titles with Barcelona.
