Arsenal could lock horns with Manchester United for Marco Reus in the January transfer window.
Despite being laid up with cruciate knee ligament damage suffered in the DFB-Pokal final, Reus is a target of Arsenal and Manchester United according to the Daily Mirror.
United boss Jose Mourinho’s desire to add a winger to his squad has been clear for some time with Ivan Perisic and Gareth Bale both linked with a switch to Old Trafford throughout the summer.
Reus was initially ruled out for six months following the injury, suffered in May. But after undergoing successful surgery, BVB confirmed he would not return until 2018.
If United are to move for the German international in January they will have to wait for the 28-year-old to regain full fitness.
