Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has ruled out Moussa Dembele’s transfer this summer, amid interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.
After scoring 32-goals for Celtic last season, Dembele is attracting interest from hosts of European clubs including Arsenal.
Ligue 1 giants Marseille have recently expressed interest to secure the services of talented Frenchman who has joined Celtic last summer from Fulham.
However, former Liverpool head-coach Brendan Rodgers rules out the striker’s departure from Parkhead in the nearby future.
“There’s nothing in it from our perspective. He’s a boy that’s very calm. And like I said, a young player still developing,” said Rodgers to Sky Sports.
“I think there’ll be a natural solution to it all. I think there’ll be something at some point in his career here where there’s an offer that, for both parties, is a sensible one, but it’s certainly nowhere near that for us at this moment in time.”
Despite missing out on Dembele Arsenal have managed to strengthen their offensive end this summer after completing club record £52m deal for Alexandre Lacazette who has impressed in the Gunners pre-season tour this far and tipped to reach success with the North London club next season.
