The Emirates has become something of an invincible home for the Gunners of late having won all seven games played since that undeserved defeat against United in November last year. The last three wins have seen 10 goals scored, none conceded and it will be strange to not see that run continue.
Wenger will be aware, though, that the Foxes last visit to North London saw them bag a win, coming back from a goal down to beat spurs in the FA Cup. They have shown some fearless adventure on some of their travels of late, notably giving Liverpool a huge scare at Anfield when they nearly took all three points having canceled a 2-goal half-time deficit. There is also the extra motivation on their part of not wanting to go down; they will give the Gunners a big fight surely.
Wenger gave an update on team news and injury update ahead of the clash at the Emirates tonight. Gladly everyone who played against the Spurs looked fine.
“Alexis will be back in the group and we don’t have any injuries from Saturday. Everybody else looked fine yesterday.” Wenger said in his press conference on Monday.
Wenger has already confirmed that our Ian Wright-like Chilean hero is back and will be available for selection for the game, although knowing how pushy he can be, it is certain that he is most likely going to be thrown straight into the starting XI.
Having said all this, here is how Wenger is expected to line-up his side.
With an expected quality Arsenal line-up and bench, it is expected that Arsenal should cruise to a 3-0 victory at the Emirates.
