Arsenal are already planning for the future and are interested in signing Monaco youngster Kylian Mbappe.

Recently, Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis revealed that the club will now focus on signing some of the best talented youngsters in football and help them develop into world class players.

It appears the club is already working on that and has been linked with a number of quality youngsters in the last few weeks. The recent of them is Monaco’s winger Mbappe. According to Italian news outlet Calcio Mercato via the Daily Star, Arsenal are interested in signing the French youngster.

The Gunners have been monitoring the young winger for sometime and will now make a move for his services after being impressed by his performances.

It is believed Juventus and Paris Saint Germain are also interested in the winger, meaning Arsenal will have to rival the two clubs for his services.

Mbappe who is just 17 years old is regarded as one of Monaco’s best players and the French club are not willing to sell him.

The winger’s contract at the club doesn’t expire until 2019 and potential suitors will have to splash the cash if they want to sign him now.

Monaco’s vice-president Vadim Vasilyev recently revealed that they do not plan to sell the winger and warned interested clubs off the talented youngster.

He said about the winger: “We have great belief in him.

“Kylian is a precocious, highly promising player, and we are convinced he will reach his full potential at Monaco.

“With Kylian attracting interest from some very big clubs, this agreement is further proof of the appeal of our project, where young talents can find their place.”

Mbappe is currently Monaco’s youngest goal scorer ever, a record which was previously held by Thierry Henry. The young winger is being tipped to match Henry’s achievement and there will be no better place than the Emirates to do that.

Henry is regarded as a king at Arsenal and Mbappe might do well to follow the legend’s footsteps by moving to the club in the future.
