Shining Arsenal star, Sead Kolasinac, who suffered an injury during the Gunners’ win against Swansea City, has been ruled out of immediate action. However, to soothe the nerves of Arsenal fans anticipating the crucial clashes coming up in the days and weeks ahead, Manager Arsene Wenger has come out to give an update on the player’s injury, after he was taken for scans.
The Frenchman confirmed that the Bosnian international suffered a knock that triggered the hip issue he had
while on international duty with his nation. Speaking with reporters, Wenger said: “It is a hip problem, a tight muscle in his hip. I do not know how long he will be out (unavailable to play), but we hope to have him around for next Sunday.”
Ever since his arrival from Schalke 04, Kolasinac has had an instant impact on the pitch. He scored and made an assist in the Gunners’ 2-1 win against Swansea City, and He has since made the left wing back role his personal property. He has quickly become a fans’ favourite, and is one of the sources of inspiration for an Arsenal side often
lacking in spirit and consistency.
Arsenal are due to lock horns with high-flying league leaders Manchester City next Sunday. While the Citizens are currently flying high, winning nine out of their ten opening matches, Arsenal’s hopes of springing an upset will be severely compromised if Kolasinac is unavailable for selection.
