Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has denied claims that the German has already agreed to personal transfer terms with Catalan side FC Barcelona over a proposed transfer at the end of the current season.

The Germany international attacking midfielder is approaching the last six months in January, and he will be allowed to speak to foreign clubs having made no clear progress in Arsenal contract renewals.

Discussing before the Brighton match, Arsene Wenger said that there has been no agreement sealed between the World cup winner and Fc Barcelona, he disclosed, as per Sky Sports.

The duo of Chilean Sanchez and German Ozil will enter the last year of their respective contracts in the New year, but Arsenal manager has claimed that he has no doubt about the commitment level of the pair.

Arsenal are currently only a point behind the final UEFA Champions League final place occupied by local rivals Tottenham Hotspur, but the Gunners nevertheless face a tricky test at Turf Moor with Fc Burnley, a team that is equal on a total of 22 points for the season.

The English FA Cup holders secured a double over their weekend opponent with the last-gasp winning goal last season, but Arsene Wenger will expect a much-improved display today after a morale-boosting victory over Tottenham last weekend.

The Gunners did lose a UEFA Europa League group stage game against FC Koln during the week, but the match is unlikely to have any major impact as Arsene Wenger featured only a second-string side on Thursday night.
