Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed he is not worried about his summer signing Alexandre Lacazette poor run in front of goal since the arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund last month.
Wenger revealed the Frenchman will find his form in goal and he isn’t worried as he tends to help the former Lyon striker get back to full form.
The French forward came off the bench during Arsenal’s 1-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley on Saturday but failed to help the Gunners find an equaliser against their bitter local rivals.
Lacazette missed a brilliant chance to find the net late on but he dragged his shot wide as Arsenal slumped to a damaging defeat in the race for Champions League qualification.
Gunners manager insist that he is not concerned about Lacazette’s recent dry spell in front of goal for the north London side.
Speaking at his post-match news conference at Wembley on Saturday, Wenger said: “He created two chances today. That is a quality as well.
“He will score goals. He is a goal-scorer, he scored goals in his whole career. He will score again.”
Lacazette will be hoping to start for Arsenal when the Gunners take on Swedish side Ostersund in the last 32 of the Europa League on Thursday night away from home.
