If reports are to be believed, then Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele is a serious summer target for Arsenal and now one of their own is trying to do some recruiting in order to make the move materialise.

Club-record signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has urged the Gunners to push through a deal to sign his former teammate Dembele this summer, with the Frenchman reportedly eager to leave Barcelona.

Dembele has netted just once in 16 appearances for Barcelona following his £110m move from Dortmund last summer and both Barcelona and the 20-year-old are interested in a summer move.

During his one season at Dortmund, Dembele netted 10 goals and provided 22 assists across all competitions, striking up a fine partnership with Aubameyang in attack, which is the key factor behind the striker’s desire to see Arsenal sign the winger when the summer transfer window opens in June.

Arsenal are interested in a deal, but they’re said to be unwilling to go above €60m to sign Dembele, which is below Barcelona’s asking price at the moment. Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United have all also been credited with interest in Dembele in recent weeks.
