Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Italian side AS Roma are reportedly planning to extend the loan deal of Arsenal goalkeeper; Wojciech Szczesny at the Stadio Olympico beyond this current season as earlier agreed between both parties, according to Sky Italia via Daily Star.
The reports claim that Roma want to either extend Szczesny’s loan deal from Arsenal or sign him up on a permanent basis. Roma’s Sporting Director; Walter Sabbatini is seeking to open dialogue with Arsenal about the possibility of extending the loan deal for Szczesny or to sign him permanently from the Premier league.
The Polish keeper fell down the pecking order when former Chelsea goalkeeper, Petr Cech signed for the Gunners in the summer for £10 Million, displacing first choice David Ospina as the number one goalkeeper at the Emirates/.
Roma are also said to have opened talks over the possibility of signing wanta away Gunners right back, Mathieu Debuchy for the remainder of the season. Debuchy is seeking regular playing time in a bid to boost his chances of making the European Championship squad in the summer for his native side.
