Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has dealt Arsenal a huge blow by revealing he is not interested in a move to the Emirates.

The striker has been heavily linked with a move away from Celtic in recent weeks and Arsenal are one of the clubs reportedly interested in his services.

Manchester United and Atletico Madrid are also rumored to be interested in the striker with the Old Trafford club were said to be lining up a January bid.

However, the striker is set to hand clubs looking to sign him a huge blow as he wants to remain at Celtic for a long time.

The striker revealed in an interview that he is happy at his club and isn’t thinking of leaving anytime soon.

“For me, I am here until the end of my contract and for many years”, Dembele was quoted as saying by beIN Sports .

“It is [transfer speculation] not something I think about. I don’t listen to those stories.

“I want to keep playing in the Champions League and keep playing in the Champions League for Celtic first.

“Because I think I will stay here 100 per cent. I want to keep improving and keep developing as a player.”

The amount of interest in the striker isn’t surprising, considering his current form which has seen him score 16 goals in 25 games.

Well, I always had doubts about the possibility of Arsenal signing the striker.  He joined Celtic just last summer and the chances he would consider a move away so soon were slim.

Some of these big clubs, including Arsenal even tried to sign him in the summer but he opted to join Celtic, so I never saw him jumping at the chance of leaving his current club less than six months after he snubbed a chance to join us.

However, a future move is still very possible but that will depend on whether we will still be interested.
