Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal are set to face added competition in the race to sign Spanish international Isco.
The Real Madrid schemer has been unhappy with the underfire boss Rafael Benitez after he was left out of the starting XI team in the El Classico, despite withdrawing from the Spain squad to prove his fitness.
His frustration was clear after he was sent off in the second half of the 4-0 defeat to Barcelona, prompting rumours he is unhappy with life in the Spanish capital.
Earlier in the season, Arsenal was reportedly put on alert after the news that Isco has handed in a transfer request at current club Real Madrid as per the Metro. The talented playmaker is supposedly keen on a change of scenery and has asked to be sold, with Manchester City also keeping an eye on his situation.
Isco has been linked with Premier League clubs in the past and Arsenal will be hoping to pounce on the uncertainty over his future in Madrid as they seek to strengthen the midfield due to injuries of their midfielders.
However, according to Italian publication La Repubblica, Juventus are desperate to sign the Real Madrid playmaker and are willing to spend big to secure his service.
The report claims Real Madrid have been contacted by Juventus representatives with an offer in excess of £25.7million according to Dailystar. This formal approach from Juventus for the Real Madrid man will stun the Arsenal Boss and perhaps prompt an official bid for his service.
