BBC reports Arsenal may have to forget all about appointing Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri as Arsene Wenger’s successor.

Arsenal began their search for a new manager last month when the French manager announced he will end his 22 year old spell in north London this summer.

And a wide range of coaches have been touted as potential options as the Gunners look for the man to take them back to the top.

Allegri, who’s on course to win his fourth successive Serie A title with Juventus, has emerged as one of the favourites to replace Wenger.

However, the 50-year-old dropped a huge hint that he’s keen to stay in Turin after watching his side retain the Coppa Italia on Wednesday night.

“We must win the title and then fight for the next title,” said Allegri after the 4-0 win over AC Milan.

“I have a contract with Juve and as every year we will meet at the end of the season to plan the future.

“It will be necessary to have the clarity to understand how to improve ourselves, to win back-to-back is always difficult and we must always build to try to win on all fronts.”
