Arsenal have reportedly accepted £10m Leicester City bid for Mohamed Elneny, however, the midfielder has snubbed transfer to King Powers Stadium.

The Gunners have signed Elneny from Switzerland giants Basel for £5m back in 2016, however since then Egyptian midfielder has failed to establish himself as Arsene Wenger first-choice defensive midfielder.

Elneny has made only 38 appearances for the Gunners and most of them came from the bench.

According to The Sun reports, the Leicester City are keen on to sign former Basel man for £10m.

However, it is believed that Egyptian winger himself has rejected the chance to play for 2015/16 Premier League champions.

The Sun say that Elneny’s agent held talks with the Foxes, however, turned down offer as he is happy with his life in London.

Despite his limited Premier League playing time, Egyptian star seems to be happy to play for Arsene Wenger and has now the intention to leave the club.

The 67-year-old manager was willing to let him leave the club due to a high competition in the midfield area.

And The Sun add that Leicester could make a second attempt to lure Egyptian star away from Emirates Stadium.
