Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal are making improved effort to sign Croatia midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, according to the Daily Express.
The Gunners have been linked with a move to sign the 23 years old as the Gunners look to strengthen their midfield.
The midfielder who is currently on loan at Inter Milan is said to have impressed Wenger with his displays at the San Siro and the Gunners are keen to sign the midfielder this month. It has been reported that Inter Milan are looking to sign the midfielder on a permanent basis then sell him immediately to Arsenal. However, Inter Milan’s boss Roberto Mancini ruled out the sale of the midfielder and has claimed the 23 years old won’t be leaving the San Siro this month.
The Express now claims the Gunners have approached the player’s parent club Dinamo Zagreb and has tabled a bid of £12m for the midfielder.
His agent had previously talked up the possibility of switching clubs in the ongoing transfer window and also claimed he won’t be sold cheaply.
Inter Milan reportedly have a £3.5m clause to sign the midfielder permanently which the Italian club is keen to activate.
