Arsene Wenger’s side have already seen their three bid turned down for French forward who has been valued around £50 million
According to L’Equipe Barcelona planning move for Monaco’s winger after they received £198m from Neymar’s transfer to PSG.
Manchester City and Liverpool believed to have also expressed interest in Monaco’s winger who has scored 14 goals and assisted 14 times last season.
Lemar, however, has been alerted to Barcelona’s interest and is now open to leave the French champions.
Earlier this summer reports from France claimed that Lemar was keen on to sign for Arsenal and had even handed transfer request for Monaco in order to force his move to Emirates Stadium.
However, the Catalan giants present a greater attraction for the midfielder, which could mean that Arsenal could miss out the signing of their no,.1 transfer target.
An alternative for the Gunners would be to sign Mahrez. However, Leicester City are asking £50m for the Algerian winger who has also been on top of AS Roma’s radar.
