Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Earlier last week Arsene Wenger declared that his side were in for a quiet end to the transfer window, should an exceptional situation not present itself. With the Gunners still looking at targets, It seems it was classic Wenger move in hope rather than expectation to play down transfer speculation.
Spanish outlet El Confidencial via the Mirror reports that Arsenal are stepping up their efforts to sign Real Madrid star Isco . The same paper had earlier reported the interest of the Gunners in the Spanish International. The paper further claims Real president Florentino Perez is prepared to listen to offers of around £25million for the midfielder having grown impatient with yet another young player. The decision by the La Liga giants to sell the star comes as a surprise when considering the transfer ban imposed on them refraining them from bringing in new players in the next two transfer windows.
The player arrived from Malaga for €30 million three years ago has failed to break into the first team at the Bernabau.
The undoubted quality of Isco who has been described by his current National team coach Vincete Del Bosque as the future of Spain surely makes him an exceptional player. A move to the Emirates will see the 23-year old line up alongside Mesut Ozil, the man he was signed to replace at Real Madrid. An attacking midfield trio of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Isco will surely terrorise the Premier League and deliver the first title in 12years for the Gunners.
