Arsenal have been handed a major boost in their plans to sign another striker when the transfer window opens in January, according to reports.
Arsenal have been targeting Dynamo Moscow forward Aleksandr Kokorin and it was recently revealed that the Gunners even had a loan bid failed to bring the striker to the Emirates last summer.
However, Kokorin’s agent Cyril Loginov has come out to reveal that his client could still make the switch to the Premier League in January, despite other reports saying otherwise.
“Aleksandr, if all well informed, still has a chance [to move in the future] and not just to Arsenal,” said Loginov, per Colin Harvey of the Daily Star.
“If Dynamo refused to give Aleksandr to Arsenal in the past transfer window, it does not mean that he can’t be where he wants [in the next window].”
It will be interesting to see if Arsenal will push through a move to bring Kokorin to the Emirates Stadium in January.
