BREAKING: Arsenal Set To Sign DEADLY Hitman With 20 Goals & 11 Assists This Season Already

Arsenal have Joined the race to sign Boca Juniors striker Jonathan Calleri.

According to Tribal football, Brighton failed to lure the youngster to England with a €10 million bid this week.

TyC Sports claims that Calleri is also high on Jose Mourinho’s wishlist as the Portuguese hopes to bolster his attacking options in January.

The 22 year old is in Sparkling form for Boca Juniors this season attracting interest from big clubs in Europe

Boca are keen to hold on to their star striker but are wary of the striker’s growing reputation in Europe.

 Calleri is a product of Atletico all boys and the striker once claimed that he didn’t rate himself when he looked at his mates, accordibg to tribal foitball, the striker was quoted as saying.

“I thought my teammates were technically far better than me,” the 21 year-old striker recalled.

“I was different to the other players. At least, that’s what I thought.

“I was hard on myself. I kept getting lost in games. I’d go to sleep.”

Calleri has done well of recent, and he is a versatile attacker who makes the most of his attacking versatility. The striker once said:

“I can play as an outright No9, that’s where I spent my youth. But I can also play as a second striker, doing the dirty work outside the opposition area and making it easier for my strike-partner.

“The important thing is to be available to the coach and try to not let him down.”

But it hasn’t been all goodnews for Calleri away from the pitch.

Less than a month after his move to Boca  Juniors, Calleri was mugged at gunpoint. Three armed men attacked and threatened to shoot him both in the head and legs before he allowed them go away with his car and other Valuables.

“I hope it never happens again,” he said.

” They took everything I had, money, my car.”

Calleri didn’t let that affect him as he has scored 16 league goals in 40 league appearances for Boca juniors since joining the club in 2014 and have found the back of the net 20 times and creating additional 11 goals for his team mates in all competitions.
