Breaking: Arsenal Still In Chase Of Yet ANOTHER Midfield Pass Master This January

Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.

Arsenal are still reserving an interest in Swiss star Granit Xhaka according to on-going reports. The 23 year old is also interesting Liverpool Boss Jürgen Klopp. The Gunners want to seal a deal for the midfielder who is said to cost £37 Million to quit Borussia Monchengladbach.

The Swiss international has made 90 appearances for Monchengladbach and become an integral player for the club since making a switch from Swiss Giants; FC Basel in 2012; the central Midfielder’s contract that runs till 2017.

The Gunners look set to add more outfield players to their squad in this January transfer window; having failed to sign a single outfield player in the summer, bring in only former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech for £10 Million.

Paris St. Germain want-away midfielder; Adrien Rabiot is also a transfer target in this transfer window as it was reported that his agent cum mother, Veronique has flown in to hold talks with the Gunners over a potential move to the Emirates.

The Gunners are yet to make any official signing so far since the transfer window reopened. Arsenal were reported to have almost completed the signing of Mohamed Elneny from Basel since last week after the Egyptian passed his medical but wasn’t given international clearance.

Till now no official announcement have been made as regards the deal for Elneny, prompting speculation that the Gunners move for Rabiot and Xhaka could mean that Elneny’s deal may have stalled.
