Real Madrid Spanish international Isco has alerted top sides in World football about his availability by tendering a transfer request to be sold in the January transfer window.
Isco has been involved in all of Real Madrid’s games this season and seem to be in Coach Rafa Benitez’s plan but the player feels undervalued by the Madrid hierarchy and he is therefore seeking a move away.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger have both shown interest in the creative midfield player with the latter asking the board to make a move to sign the player in the coming transfer window.
Arsenal already have creative players in Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla and don’t need another similar player, the Gunners need another striker and a centre defender to better their chances of winning the league. However, with the never ending injuries to Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere, Isco could come in straight into Wenger’s plans.
The Blues have Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabrigas and William in their creative ranks and need central defence to replace their ageing defence that has been shipping in goals.
Manchester United Gaffer Louis Van Gaal is in serious need to inject pace and creativity into his squad, something he has been planning to do when the January transfer window opens. He opted out of a deal for Spanish creative winger Pedro Rodriguez, missed out in the signing of Southampton attacker Saido Mane who’s proven to have pace and creativity in his style of play.
With Isco signaling his intentions to quit Real Madrid, Arsenal should step up their interest in signing the Spanish international.
Although Isco is a creative player but many critics feel he may be lacking the pace to survive in the Premier league.
