Arsenal have received a huge boost in its pursuit of Torino striker Andrea Belotti, according to reports.

Belotti is reportedly top of Wenger’s wish list to replace Sanchez if the Chilean refuses to sign a new deal.

The Italian striker is in superb form this season, having racked 19 goals for both clubs and country since the start of the campaign.

His form has attracted the Premier League big boys with Chelsea, Manchester United as well as Arsenal all monitoring his situation.

In a bid to keep the striker out of the reach of the big clubs, Torino recently tied him down to a new contract which includes an £85m release clause.

However, reports in Italy via Talksport, claim the striker’s future is still uncertain and Torino’s failure to qualify for Europe could determine if he stays or not.

The report further claimed the Premier League will be the player’s next destination if he decides to leave Torino.

He has already received an offer from China but a move to Asia doesn’t appeal to the player, likewise a move to another Serie A club.

This will come as a huge boost to Wenger because Arsenal are believed to be leading other PL clubs in the race to sign the striker.

We may be forced to step up our interest soon as Manchester United have already stepped up their search for a successor to Ibrahimovic and with Diego Costa itching for a move away from Chelsea, the Blues as well as the Red Devils could begin to take a closer look at Belotti.

It is said that the striker is seen as a replacement for Sanchez but I will urge Wenger to make a move for Belotti regardless of whether Sanchez signs a new deal or not.

Belotti’s potential is scary, at 23 he has already established himself as one of Europe’s most complete strikers and will definitely be a great signing for us now and the future.
