Arsenal are set to lose its chief scout Louis Boa Morte, according to reports.
Boa Morte has been a key part of Arsenal recruitment team in the last few years, spotting new talents and running the rule over talented youngsters.
Most recently he has been frequently watching Porto and Benfica’s games with the hope of identifying potential signings for Arsenal
But according to UK newspaper The Record via gunnersphere.com, Boa Morte is set to abandon his role at Arsenal to pick up a managerial role at Portugal third division side SU Sintrense.
The chief scout had already done his coaching badges prior to his move to Arsenal in 2015 and was a youth team coach at Sporting Lisbon before he joined us.
He is now set to return to management after being offered a senior role at Sintrense.
His exit would come as a huge blow to Arsenal as his good eye for talents has helped uphold our philosophy of spotting and training the best talents there is in football in the few years he spent as our scout.
In his early football days, Boa Morte spent 2 years at Arsenal as a player between 1997 and 1999 before he joined Southampton.
