Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes has revealed Bayern Munich aren’t interested in Arsenal target Malcom.
Arsenal emerged as favourites to sign Malcom in the January transfer window but a move failed to materialise.
However, a fee of around £40 million was touted in January, which is perhaps what put Arsenal off in the end.
Malcom ended up staying at Bordeaux, but the player himself claims a summer exit is inevitable. And after Heynckes confirmed Bayern had scouted the 21-year-old, the German giants were seemingly set to lead the chase.
However, Heynckes has now denied Bayern are interested in signing Malcom.
“I have never seen him play, therefore I am not able give an opinion on him,” the Bayern boss told reporters (via the Evening Standard).
“But I don’t think there is interest here. He always gets put into the shopping window but nobody really goes after him.”
